Question J! 1.5.24 menu aliases containing non-Latin characters (SEO enabled) crash site

I uninstalled and reinstalled kunena

Now something changed though. Instead of getting "broken link" message from the browser, I just get a white blank screen.

And for some reason, despite all the updates, some of the versions do not change as you can see below.
Blue Eagle is still 1.6.5.

Something is wrong, but hopefully with your help, I will fix it.

I just noticed, you have integration_access set to Joomla, instead of Jomsocial.
I am using community builder and have all the fields in components-->kunena-->configuration -->integration tab, set to community builder.

Just switched the integration , I made it autodetect.

This is so frustrating, the whole site is dying now. Is there any other way to start over while keeping the forum database intact. Nothing works. I can't see any kunena page. After I disabled the legacy mod, I am getting blank frozen screen with links something like this :

/component/kunena/?func=view&catid=2&id=10484#10528

I am starting figure our the issue now.

I switched the joomla template to milky way and was able to see the entry page of kunena.

So it does have something to do with the Yoo Cloud Theme.

Any ideas now?

Okay, solved.


It is not the template.

It is the gzip compression setting on global settings of Joomla

Remember following that advice to improve joomla soon before this started to happen.

Just disabled it.

Problem solved.
