Question forum/announcement BB code not working when logged in, works when not logged in...

Hi all,

Just upgraded from Kunena 1.10 to 1.5.9 using CB 1.21 for profile pages, mostly smoothly, couple of issues i've got (im on latest version of joomla 1.5 too.

BB code for the announcements area:

I have 2 banners, one on top of the other in my announcements area of the forum. When im NOT logged in, the first banner appears, the second banner is just BB Code. When I log on, neither appear, both are just BB Code.

BB Code for forum signatures:

Similar Issue, when not logged in, all work fine, when logged in, none work, just shows BB Code.

Show All Users (at bottom of forum).

When I click this, it takes me to the first community builder list I have. Not a massive issue, just it's not what it says.

Also, i've picked up on a couple of other things in the BB code that used to work better than they do now. for example, if i was making a list item, i would type what i wanted, highlight it, then press the LI button, it would then wrap the text in BBCode tags. Now all it does is put the opening and closing BB tags at the bottom of the post, which isn't as helpful as it used to be.

My roadmap for upgrades has been fireboard 1.0.4 - Kunena 1.10. - Kunena 1.5.9

I've never experienced these BB code issues before, (so i know its not my site) but the User List issue has been there since Fireboard.

Any help is much appreciated, I think i've just about covered it in terms of info to give you, if you need to know anything else please let me know. Keep up the excellent work, you guys are amazing!

UPDATE: just had a look, seems to be displaying SOME BB code when logged in (other forum banners etc), investigating further...

Investigated. If a user has (IMG)filename(/IMG) (obviously replacing the round brackets with square ones) then the image works, but is reduced in size, and becomes clickable to the source image. If the user has (IMG=FILENAME) then it doesnt work (which is what 99/100 of our members have, as it displays their forum sig at 100% size, and does not make it linked and clickable

You have asked for support. Please note: There is only one endorsed and supported Kunena template ... default_ex . Do these problems that you've referred to occur with the default_ex template?

yes, still happens with default_ex template too.

Please leave the default_ex template enabled.

Do you have a test account (username/password) to be able to see the different behaviours between when you are not logged in and when you are logged in?

you can login using user:

USERNAME: testusername
PASSWORD: test123

I will change the template to the default, though im keen to change it back asap due to the obvious CSS clashes with the rest of my site.
