Are you using the admin user name and the new user password?

I meant create a new user by signing up to your site, like I would if I went to your site and registered. Basically what we were doing was making a new user to use as a "dummy" just to get an encoded password that we knew. When you copied the password from the new user to the admin user 62's password, you changed the password for the admin account to be the same as the new user you created. Then it should have let you into the admin panel with your admin 62 user name and the new users password.

We just changed the password through the database instead of doing it through the frontend or admin panel. I don't think Joomla allows admin 62 password remind or change through the frontend.

I'm not sure about JoomlaPack and safemode my remote site has safemode turned off so its never been an issue for me. There are alternative backup utilities at JED if JoomlaPack won't work for you there might be another that will.

This problem may be related to odd image / file corruptions in Joomla on some servers. For some reason extracting zip archives will break some files -- but usually unzipping and zipping the file again in your local computer helps to fix this issue.

I assume that it is a bug in zlib, so doing security update on your server may help to fix this problem for good.

~cXc~ : How can I create a new user when I can't reach the administrator part? ;)
I can only reach the administrator part on my local WAMP server where everything is working just fine. So if I create the new user locally on mt WAMP server and export the X_users database table and imoport it to the webserver database X_users table and copy the encoded password from the new user to the admin 62 user then it will let me in?

Matias: I have never extracted any zip archives on my web server, I tried but it broke the operation somewhere in the middle of the extracting process everytime. I just uploaded all content via ftp the same way as with the old site and I didn't find any corrupted files... well i didn't go through every single files either cause that would have left me totally nuts :)
Sorry for asking a silly question but what is zlib?
Should i do a security update on my WAMP server or on the webserver?

I solved the administrator part :) Did it the hard way:
1. Erased the entire contents of the site on the webserver
2. Copied the working sites content to my local WAMP server with db and all.
3. Imported some tables such as content and meny items and menu from the new site
4. Moved the new template to the site
5. Now uploading all to the server again after reconfiguring some Kunena subjects etc.
6. Configure the configuration.php file and finally it works.

The Kunena forum still gives me grey hair though...same problem remains :side:

I still struggle... without success... :S
I have tried to uninstall the Kunena forum and reinstall it after removing the database table fs_xxx still no go...
If I only was able to install Kunena on the webserver... The problem seem to be that it wont install it there...
The web server has Safe Mode on and no option turning it off...
I give up soon

Have you considered moving to a different host or server?

If you are just getting started might be worth it to consider an alternative host/server now before it really becomes a problem later. I've worked with many hosts that do allow the option of turning it off, some request proof of identity and stuff first o.O but they do allow it as an option.

I ended up running my own server to avoid limitation, I like freedom :P but in all honesty its been a major headache to learn as I go :s
