Obviously, images are not loaded by the browser if the filename extension isn't included.

See the problem here: www.flattrackmn.com/forum/latest

I'm honestly not sure where the misunderstanding lies here.

I hope you will try to understand that sometimes we do not easily comprehend every question that is asked in these forums. We try to make allowances for those people who are not native English speakers. I hope you will also bear in mind that sometimes things are not as apparent to us as they may be to you.

The issue at the core of this problem is to understand the circumstances that lead to the apparent removal of a filename extension. I don't know how to recreate the situation on a K 1.5.14 test site; we are unable to create this situation here at www.kunena.org because this site is currently using completely different version of Kunena to what you are using. So, I hope you will appreciate the difficulties that we are having.

Can you please answer the question that I asked in my last message. What version of Kunena are you using?

Have you considered K 1.6.3 instead of K 1.5.12?

I'm sorry, I don't really have any better suggestions at the moment. Perhaps someone else in the community - who still has a keen interest in K 1.5 - might have an idea.
