Thank you. As I said (or meant to say) in my earlier posting: you need to restore all "customised" settings back to their default values. Your implementation of Kunena does not look anything like the implementation of Kunena at this website. Why is that? It's because you've changed something.

My guess is you've changed Components » Kunena Forum » Kunena Configuration » Frontend » Use Joomla Style = Yes. Would that be correct?

I said, in my earlier posting:

Whenever you experiment with something you're unsure of, stop! Go back to something that you know works! Kunena works out-of-the-box, without making any changes to it.

Therefore, go back to the standard Kunena configuration parameters that were delivered when you first installed the product: See Kunena Configuration in the Wiki for guidance. Then, when you have a standard Kunena implementation, and you still haven't fixed the PDF issue, contact us again. :)

This problem is starting to unravel more and more as further information comes to light:
  1. You are using GroupJive. I'm not interested in GroupJive. I don't know anything about GroupJive. Get rid of it, let's concentrate on Kunena.
  2. Have you restored all of Kunena's configuration parameters to their original settings? When you have restored all of Kunena's configuration parameteres to their original settings we will have a clearer understanding of what we're dealing with.
  3. Why are we messing around with K 1.5.5 - on a test site - for goodness sakes? Let's move on. Install the latest version, K 1.5.9.
  4. I don't know how to change the colour in PDF files. We shouldn't have to know how to do that. "Vanilla-flavoured", untarnished, unmodified, out-of-the-box Kunena delivers PDF with black text on a white background unless you've changed something ... or something else has got in the way. Get rid of the clutter, the obstacles, the other things so that we can have a clear look at Kunena, please.
You may think the [PDF] functionality works "properly" but you cannot demonstrate it and I can't see it. I'm trying to help you as best I can, but it's really up to you. ;)
