Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I'm sorry cally, if you got the feeling that we are looking down our noses here. That was not our intention. Our team has been very busy lately on trying to finish Kunena 1.6 while trying to manage their own lives and work. Sleeping too short nights sometimes shows up, even if we are trying to avoid showing it.

Our team always welcomes constructive critic and we will try to improve our replies, even if Cerberus took it very personal that his favored moderator received some negative feedback.

I must agree others on Gainsboro; it hasn't been updated for a while and we have gradually made some changes that makes the old templates incompatible with the latest releases. I hope that the author is willing to upgrade his template for K1.5.12, as it seems to be pretty popular one.

In the mean time, I would install older release of Kunena if you want to use this template.

Hi Matias :)

Hey no worries, I get the same way only mine is due to illness n sleep problems.

I did play around with Gainsboro some more last night and even attempted doing a "compare files" thing as there's currently 3 version of Gainsboro on the go (the normal one, the left one which has profile box on left and the european time one) and ideally I'd love it to be all 3 versions rolled into one. Only lasted bout 10 mins though  and gave it up as a bad job.

I've stuck with the default_ex template and Kunena 1.5.11 and am not going messing with anything especially after reading one of sozzled's posts where he/she put that there had been 13 releases of kunena over a 12 month period! Definitely sticking with simple and standard, why make more work for myself ? I never learn

Hi cally,

sorry for delay to answer you on this topic.

Well, the template you are using (Gainsboro v2.0) IS UPDATED and run without problems in K 1.5.11 and upcoming k1.5.12 (now we are about just to release it). In few minutes when you see k1.5.12 out, upgrade kunena and download template again (only) from here and dont use template in the middle of discussion of Gainsboro template. I mean this #36095 .
That version is not supported by me and is modified by other user. I suspect you are trying to use that one and you have some problems.

If you still have problems after update let me know.

Best Regards

Gainsboro Template V2.0 IS fully compatible with K1.5.11 and K1.5.12

Please be careful and sure what you are write about this template. If you have some problems with that template or you can find some user which have problems let me know and I'll try to help you or others.
