I have no idea who or what Gavick templates are, what they were made for or whether they are compliant with whatever version of Kunena is being used. Let me make the following statement: 99% of the time, Kunena works, after you've installed it successfully, without making a single change to it!

After people start fiddling around, that's when the problems really begin!

If you have a problem with "Gavick templates", contact the developers of the Gavick templates and complain to them about it. :)

LOL OMG get ya panties under control, two fingers should do it. Look I could write Kahuna or whatever the name of this forum is in 2 weeks alone. you write this strict variable dominated php like you just got out of some tech school and expect no questions?

lol Look I worked for Vbulletin for 6 years I've been coding for 22 years NOOB! the fact remains there is a open tag in your code, maybe that's why you can't come up with a working template sense it only happens when.. hehe I aint telling ya you find it.. here's a hint, it's in a if statement. If your making updates every two weeks your pretty week on your organization, your code should be modular so people can make templates without having to know strict php, thats why you have all these guestions.

As you can see I can code a template for this forum any way I want.. Oh and PS if you don't know who Gavick is your a Joomla Noob.

And as far as a picture.. I left a link and that's better than a thousand pictures.

next time try READING the first line of my post before making comments like this and making yourself just look arrogant and unable to read. This is a forum open to all not just you.

For the information of any others reading this post this is an error caused by a none standard template and this is why the devs and moderators here, have this offical line on the subject.

AND

How ever the user here posted this question in the correct area of kunena.com and if he had post alot more information on his problem it may have been solved alot quicker by one of the helpers here ( yes im one of them i make templates for Kunena ), the information i personaly would have needed to help him would be.

and FYI vbulletin SUCKS and always has so that no good merret of your skills or lack of and IF there was an error with an IF statement how is it only YOUR shit template is affected and not the HUNDREDS of other templates currently out there for both kunena and joomla????

LOL OMG get ya panties under control, two fingers should do it. Look I could write Kahuna or whatever the name of this forum is in 2 weeks alone. you write this strict variable dominated php like you just got out of some tech school and expect no questions?

if your not a member why are you even talking, and sorry I just skim over comments when i don't see the need to read their comments. You had no answers for me and now I see you have little conversation for me either. With 22 years of coding and programming you may see me as arrogant, but I know what I'm talking about. You find that to be threatening.. so what.

Again, I'll keep it simple. I went to the user's website; the user is not using the latest version of Kunena and is using a non-standard or customised template that may or may have its own defects. If the user has experienced problems with Kunena on three different websites, it might be helpful to install the latest version of Kunena and try the default_ex template. If this does not overcome the problems then we would like to know what, specifically, are the issues that need to be worked through in order to provide a satisfactory resolution and, perhaps, to correct an unknown defect with Kunena.

I'm delighted to write, and proud to admit, that I don't know everything! ;)

It's cool sozzled when I code for 22 hours strait I get a little testy. I'll download the latest version and I am using default_ex ..well at least that's what this template started as being when I got it.
