Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Hello All,

I am a rookie in the world of website maintenance and hope you can help me out:

I have Kunena 1.5.11 and want to update it to 1.6.1.
I meet all system requirements.

Here is my question:

Do i need to update to every upgrade between 1.5.11 and 1.6.1?
If so what are the exact upgrades i need to update to? It is hard to find as there are many files...

...or can i update directly to 1.6.1?

Hi,

you can upgrade directly to Kunena 1.6.1, but we recommend to do this on test site and check if all works well and if there are no problems you can do this on your live site.
The best way to test is to create copy of your site on the same server where is hosted your live site.
