Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hey all,

After a lot of hard work I've got my Joomla online.
Now I downloaded Kunena 1.5, but don't really know how to proper install it and put it on my website.
I'm asking this because after the hard work I don't want to jam my site because I did something wrong.

Some one please help :blush:

It can be installed just like every other component -- By Joomla installer in Extensions menu.

But what file do I need to upload?
When I want to upload the kunena.install I got the message:
JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths
Warning! Failed to move file.
Unknown Archive Type

What do I do wrong?

I just read it, but when I want to upload the zipped file I get the message: JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths
Warning! Failed to move file. (Even when I place the zipped file in the map of joomla).

Do you have the safe mode on off ?
What is your php version ?
What is your joomla! version ?

Check that these directories have the permissions on 777 :

/components
/modules
/language/en-GB
/administrator/components
/administrator/modules
/administrator/language/en-GB
