Question cant install K1.5.5 on J1.5.14

i just wanted to add that i experienced the same issue when trying to install kunena 1.5.5 on a fresh install of joomla 1.5.14. all i got was a blank screen. i found this post and went and downloaded kunena 1.5.4 and it installed with no problems so i am guessing that there is a problem in the install procedure of Kunena 1.5.5.

just thought i would let you know and add more validity to the post.

I had it up and running for about an hour or so... Got the whit screen both on back end and frontend after making some changes in the back end...
I think it had to intergration with Community Builder, cause thats about what I was changing when I clicked save and then it went white error screen.

Now when I click on the Kuena Button in the Components list in Joomla I get the white screen "WebSite cannot be displayed"

Second install stated I was above requirements for Joomla and Kuena...

same issue here, can't install Kunena 1.5.5 on Joomla 1.5.14.
After starting the installation it takes about 20 - 30 seconds, then the white page appears and I can't go on. Same thing happens with Kunena 1.5.4, too!?

I have no idea what the problem is. I tried to install the application on different systems (debian lenny and MacOS Leopard) and sites - no luck...

shaden79 RjSteed dave05 do u have edit htaccess add other things ?

I got mine working, I had to go into database and switch the Profile intergration back to kunena... Forum came back up.

Its working on latest Joomla, Community Builder, and Kunena releases. I just cant turn the Profile intergration on.
