Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Thank you for the update. I assume - this is a massively big assumption - that you stopped, checked and verified the success of each of the preceding seven steps.
Assuming that you have made a viable backup at step 7, this is what I would do in your present situation:

- Restore your backed-up (Joomlapack) website - the one you created at step 7 (that's why I recommended you do it).
- Verify (again) that you have Kunena 1.0.11 on the restored website
- Logout of the "restored" website
- Leave untouched Kunena's files but DROP all jos_fb_* tables associated with the new site
- Now that you have no possibility of "duplicate" tables, records and/or indexes, import the jos_fb_* tables that you had from the J! 1.0.15 website that you've converted to K 1.0.11 (in step 3 of my last-revised procedure)
- Login to your new J! 1.5 website and confirm that all the messages you've had are now moved across.
- Now you can consider upgrading to K 1.5.4.
