Hi All,

We have recently installed kunena which we really like and appreciate the effort put into it.

When we first installed it we have created a menu link which was a submenu under jomsocial

- community
-- Forum

However now we would like to move it to be working as a separate main link

- Forum

When we simply do the change in the menu nothing actually works and the links all point to an error page

We would really appreciate the help on how we can go around this without breaking any links.

Regards,
Omar

I have not tried this, but there seems to be Alias type, which can help you to keep both links working. I have never used it, so I have no idea how it works..

If you want to add redirect, I believe that there are only two ways to do it: either you add redirect rule into .htaccess (Apache file) or you find a plugin/component which redirects URL for you.

I am not sure if i made my self clear ..

I am not trying to keep old links working .. I am not getting the new menu links to work ... when i create a new menu item which links to the forum it works just fine ..

but when I click in one of the forums or subforums it take me to the "page not found" page ..

would appreciate the help .. i think there might be something else to it .. i just found out that i can't even move another menu item and not just the forum .. I just tried moving a contact us form from one place to another and it does not function in the new place.
