Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Question Joomla Site Preview not working
To me, that back button is sitting on a submenu, or a toolbar. I was wrong to call it navbar, since a navbar is usually a navigational menu bar with either text or images.
In Joomla I think it is called Toolbar. It's atleast called toolbar in the CSS.
The "funny" thing is that the back button is missing in both my live site and in my fresh site.
The site preview button in Joomla Backend does work as it simply is a link to www.mysite.com/ with a target of _blank so it is opened in a new window.
My Preview of Kunena when posting a new topic or editing a topic or replying to a topic does NOT work, at all. Sorry for being unclear. (My friends call me fluffy because I have a way of making things very... fluffy and unclear.)
I was thinking about a complete new start of Joomla and my live site.
I know how to do it, but it is a lot of work.
I have hundreds of menu items and hundreds of articles and alot of modules, alot of setups.
I will atleast try, but that will be for later when I have the time to do it.
So, for clarity:
Preview in backend DOES work.
Preview in frontend Kunena does NOT work.
Back button is missing, both in live site and fresh site.
Thanks for your patience and your help
Cheers

G'day, "fluffy" Now you've really got me confused! :blink:Preview in backend DOES work.
Preview in frontend Kunena does NOT work.
Back button is missing, both in live site and fresh site.
I think we have two, unrelated, problems here.
- Preview in the frontend - you will show me, with a screenshot, what you mean, won't you?
- doesn't "work". So, what happens? In what way doesn't it "work"? - The Back button is missing from the Kunena control panel
One symptom suggests a flaky Kunena installation, the other symptom suggests a component conflict. This is rather bizarre!
So I'm beginning to wonder whether your site foundations are solid. Your problem could lie with your webhost, your Joomla 1.5.15 installation kit, your version of MySQL or PHP. I'm doubting that we may ever find your problem for you by our second-sighted guesswork.

The missing buttons on the admin side has been much talked about on these forums it comes from a broken kunena TAR install package. if you istall kunena with the ZIP package the problem dissappears
