The first version I had loaded was the version before this 1.5.10 Kunena.

So, we can confirm that you were using Kunena 1.5.9: is that correct?

And we can also confirm that K 1.5.9 did not cause any HTTP 500 server error problems: is that correct?

Do you have a backup of your system before you upgraded to K 1.5.10?

Almost correct, the error started with 1.5.9, I upgraded to 1.5.10 to hopefully eliminate the error. Unfortunately, no backup.

I asked you the question 7 hours ago, when did this problem first begin. So you're now saying that the problem did not occur as a result of doing an upgrade; the problem was in evidence when you had K 1.5.9.

How long have you had K 1.5.9 for? Did the HTTP 500 error first start when you installed K 1.5.9 or did the error start appearing afterwards? You see, because K 1.5.10 is still very new, I am trying to establish that there isn't a flaw specifically with that version.

From the sounds of things, the 500 error is being generated because of something else you have on your website (added before or after Kunena) that manifests itself when you run Kunena. That's what I've found when I've encountered this error.

JComments was one of the last components I added. Here's what else is loaded:
lyften bloggie
rquotes
smart former gold
rock candy

Does the Header error I posted earlier make any sense to you?
Thanks the help - I'm bit lost on ferreting this one out.

We've had lots of trouble with RokCandy as any search of these forums will show you (although I can't recall HTTP 500 being one of the errors). Likewise, the other Joomla extensions you listed may have an impact, we can't be sure.

I don't get a HTTP 500 error when I visit your website.

I don't know where you obtained that Kunena template but the colours look good!

WOOO HOO...success! It was the RokCandy. I appreciate your wisdom.

Template...I just modified to CSS and images to go with the site's colors. I'm much better at the design end of this than the developer :-)

Thanks again.
