Question Can I use the userlist settings to control what is displayed in the user profile?

Hello, If i remember right it's something that i have fixed in K1.6 and i don't remember if i have backported the fix into K1.5.10/1.5.11

I installed the 1.5.110, with the hotfix a few hours ago, and the fix was not implemented there.

I did add some more changes since they were missing ing summary.php.

Could someone please explain to me, in a few words, what exactly is the problem and how does this discussion topic resolve the problem. :blink: If this is defective behaviour with K 1.5.11 can we test for that version, too, please? Also, if we discover that it is defective behaviour, I would like to add this to the list of K 1.5.11 - Known problems (if I knew what the problem was that I could summarise in a few words). :S

I do not have 1.5.11, but I did download 1.5.10-2 with the emailfix3.

The problem is this:
In Kunena Configuration -> Plugins -> Userlist, these settings have no effect:
Show Username
Show Number of Posts
Show Profile Hits

It is because in file components/template/default/plugins/fbprofile/summary.php there are some conditional if statements missing for the variables userlist_username, userlist_posts and userlist_userhits.

Edit:
Just checked the summary.php in 1.5.11 and the file is not fixed.

Thanks. I will try to follow the instructions about how to reproduce the problem on a clean K 1.5.11 test site. If this shows as a defect I will also move this topic to the support category.

There is no problem here that I can see. These settings affect the details in the user list. I used the following values on my K 1.5.11 test site:

This was the userlist that I generated:


As you can see, the userlist correctly shows the fields that I set to Yes, and it did not display the fields that were set to No. Therefore, I still do not understand the problem or whether there is a defect in K 1.5.11. Can you help me understand the problem that you are trying to resolve? :S
