Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Email Notification Links Generating a 404 page error was created by freedomcoach
Hi Everyone:

When I receive an email notification of a post to my Kunena forum, clicking on the included link produces a 404 page error. This occurs regardless whether I'm logged into my site or not. This is a big issue because it means that others on my forum may be experiencing a similar pattern and therefore participating less in the forum. All help in resolving this appreciated.

Do you have an example of the link in the e-mail (that gives you the 404 Page Not Found error) and the real link to the same discussion topic that generated the e-mail in the first place?

If you provide this information we may be able to see what's happening in the Kunena e-mail modules and what may need to change.

Here's a sample URL link to the forum that is creating a 404 error for me.

Also, I'm now getting a 404 error message even when I'm logged into the website.

These errors are happening in the Safari browser but I tested them in Firefox on mac and got the same result

Like, you see after the index.php is missed the ?, but i don't know how to fix this.

What SEF module are you using?
