Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi Sozzled, thanks for the reply. I saw that mentioned in the above post and should have asked how to do this. Sorry for being such a newbie but where exactly can you set image processing?

There is a configuration setting in K 1.5 for this. See Kunena Configuration in the Wiki

My problem is that I have upgraded the site to K 1.6.1 where the avatar settings are now quite restricted. there is no option to turn off the image processor. there is just avatar size and avatar quality. Even if avatar quality is set to 100% the avatar still gets reduced in quality. I am sorry I came to this post when searching for a solution for this avatar problem, and I did not notice that I was in the Kunena 1.5 section
