Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Deal All,

I have installed Kunena 1.0.8 recently. However, when I try to post thread in Chinese language, it came out with errors:

Fatal error: Unable to load post.\nDB function reports no errors in /home/my-site/public_html/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.debug.php on line 54

For your knowledge I didn't install any Chinese language pack as it is not yet available. Is this that caused the problem? There is no problem with English of course. I thought since the website is using "UTF-8", it shouldn't cause any problem even without language pack, as I know language pack is merely using for front and backend presentation. So...Any idea any one? Do you encounter problem in other language beside English? do share with me. Thanks in advance.

I think you answered your own question. Get the proper language pack installed and report back.

Thanks. I realised it was not because of the language pack itself. It was the installation that caused the problem. I tried to reinstall the kunena component and it worked fine. It means without the language pack one still can post in the foreign language beside english. Thanks anyway.
