Question Moving posts (messages) between topics

I've searched high and low for information on how to move posts between topics in Kunena, both on this forum and on Google. It seems that moving/splitting/merging topics is fairly easy, but there are also many instances where I need to move a post from one existing topic to another existing topic. Am I just missing something really obvious, or is this functionality not yet implemented?

Thanks in advance...

To move a post to another topic, you only have to use the merge-function. But this does only work, if both threads are in the same forum.

If you want to move a post to a topic, that is in another forum, unfortunately you must take a laborious way:

Example:
Forum 1, thread start, post test

shall be moved to

Forum 2, thread goal.

Solution:

Create a new thread dummy (in Forum 1)

Merge post test with thread dummy (leave NO coy in old thread)

Move thread dummy to forum 2 (leave NO link to moved thread in old forum)

Merge post test with thread goal (leave NO coy in old thread)

Delete thread dummy.
