Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Will there be or indeed are there already any modules that show new forum posts (or most popular etc) on the homepage etc?

I just got my site up and running with the forum and it is a shame currently that no one can see that posts are being made in the forum.

Yes, there is. If you could do a quick search on the forum for it or look in the user contributions section, Jerry has made one that works for J1.5 and one also for 1.0.X
