In the backend, kunena forum administration panel new and edit button have the same link:

www.my-joomla1.5.9.site.../administrator/index2.php?option=com_kunena&task=showAdministration#

If I click on one of my existing category, I got this link;

www.my-joomla1.5.9.site.../administrator/index2.php?option=com_kunena&task=showAdministration#edit

Anyway I got redirected to:

www.my-joomla1.5.9.site.../administrator/index2.php, only showing the left kunena control panel, without the joomla template!

Any hint of how to debug this? Where should I start looking? :blink:

Update:
Found this in my php log:
[20-feb-2009 17:46:59] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 268964 bytes) in .../administrator/components/com_kunena/admin.kunena.php on line 1424

Runnig:
Kunena: 1.0.8
Databaseversion: 5.1.30-log
PHP-version: 5.2.6
Webserver: Apache/2.0.63
Joomla!-version: Joomla! 1.5.9

Did you read our Manual before installing Kunena:

Yes I'm aware of the requierment (And thank you for the excelent documentation!). The output from php indicating (268435456 bytes = 268MB) that the requiremet is fullfilt.

From php.ini:
max_execution_time = 150
max_input_time = 150
memory_limit = 256M
safe_mode = Off

So I think the problem is somewhere elsewhere?

Update:

The site is a test/development site. An co-admin delted the top-level category (without notyfing me). After a restore from backup the problem disapere. The problem is solved and lesson to learn: don't delete a category containing child catagories!

It looks like my selection had off by one bug. I got 26M. :blush:

There must be some infinite loop in there. I need to look at it soon.

As we have written elsewhere, and we will probably continue to write in the future, you are strongly advised to install Kunena 1.0.9. Kunena 1.5.0a should only be used by experienced users of earlier versions of Kunena and it should only be installed for testing purposes. Unless you have evidence that a feature that worked in Kunena 1.0.8 or 1.0.9, does not now work with version 1.5.0a, please do not ask for help on how to use this latest, test version.

Thank you.
