We are in a pickle of sorts here. We are currently running Joomla 1.0.12 on our live site. Our editors decided to announce a new forums in the print edition of the magazine before we were ready to roll out anything related to forums on the site. We are currently testing Joomla 1.5.12 on our test site and have the latest Kunena installed there. It appears to be working fine. However, in order to bridge the migration from J1.0x to J1.5x, we decided to install Kunena 1.0.9 on the Joomla 1.0.12 site and use that until we roll out the J1.5 version. We cannot get past configuring Kunena without it throwing what looks like some kind of debug dump (see below). I searched the forums here and ran across a thread that said "click here for fix". After following the link/thread, I hit dead ends with not solution. The two wiki links it took me to were empty or non-existent.
The problem for us is that if we try to do something as simple as change the board title or board e-mail address, we get the debug dump page.
This is very frustrating and we are desperate for help. If there is a link to the fix, please point me to the actual link that describes the fix, not a long threaded path. I just don't have that kind of time right now. I would love to get a take from someone in Kunena support.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi xilillibit,
I tried everyone of the links below and still no solution. I un-installed and installed the latest Kunena 1.0.11. Whenever I try to change the board settings (like e-mail or board name), I get the same debug dump message. Here is the latest info:
Code:
variable value $0 " key value $file "/web/htdocs/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.debug.php" $line "45" $function "debug_callstackinfo" [args] Nested Array " $1 " key value $file "/web/htdocs/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.debug.php" $line "67" $function "trigger_dberror" [args] Nested Array " $2 " key value $file "/web/htdocs/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.config.class.php" $line "177" $function "check_dberror" [args] Nested Array " $3 " key value $file "/web/htdocs/administrator/components/com_kunena/admin.kunena.php" $line "841" $function "backup" $class "CKunenaConfigBase" $type "->" [args] Nested Array " $4 " key value $file "/web/htdocs/administrator/components/com_kunena/admin.kunena.php" $line "180" $function "saveConfig" [args] Nested Array " $5 " key value $file "/web/htdocs/administrator/index2.php" $line "69" [args] Nested Array $function "require_once" " Installed version: Kunena 1.0.11 | 2009-07-10 | 1354 [ Gemeinschaft ] | php 5.1.2 | mysql 5.0.56sp1-enterprise-gpl-log

The code referenced in the links you provided do not match up. Line 247 in my version of kunena.php was not the same in the older 1.0.9 version or my current version.

Is it possible i'm missing something in the DB for the backend stuff? Most of the posts I have read on the forum all look similar to my problem here. It's the same looking debug dump. I have to believe someone else has had the same problem.

I'm still desparate here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Keith
