Question Errors on My Discussions, Recent Discussions pages

Hello,

I'm running Joomla 1.0.12/MySQL 4.1.7/PHP 5.x and just installed Kunena 1.0.11. Everything has gone well except that the My Discussions and Recent Discussions pages are not functional. I've spent about 3 hours reading everything I can find related to this and have not found any solution.

Screenshots of the error pages are below (Joomla debugging enabled). Any insights on the cause of this would be much appreciated.

These are just my first impressions; I'm sure someone with more technical understanding than me can help you better.

1. According to the screenshots you provided, the error log indicates that you are running MySQL 4.0.27 (see Technical Requirements in the Wiki).

• Question: Were you successfully running Kunena before you installed K 1.0.11?

You are running a ancient version of Joomla.

• I would have to ask myself the serious question: Is it about time to be looking for an alternative webhost who can give me a better service? And then I'd update my website to Joomla 1.5.4 and be rid of the whole J! 1.0 ball-and-chain. But that's just my personal opinion.

I know the screenshots say I'm running MySQL 4.0.27 but it's just not true. There's something broken with Kunena or with PHP in determining the MySQL version. PErhaps that could play in.

I can't say I'm 100% confident in my host to not have a messed up PHP or MySQL install, but lots of other sites, Joomla included, run without issue, so I'm not ready to blame it on the host.

And yes... prehistoric Joomla, that's another issue as well. Right now we're not prepared to undertake a migration to 1.5x though I understand the end of life issues we're running into with 1.0.x.
