Can you try the same situation in a J! 1.5.10 or J! 1.5.9 environment to see whether Joomla 1.5.11 is the conflicting factor? Are there any YOO theme plugins involved? What if you disable those, too? What other third-party Joomla extensions are involved?
As we're "flying blind" here, we can only offer suggestions.

Hi, I've had this problem since december 08 so its been there since 1.5.9 at least.
I just tried deactivating the few extensions and mods that I had and then add the rss feed to my rss reader but its not updating, I thne tried switching joomla sef off but this made no difference.
Attached image of components, here is alist of plugins and extensions, I've not included the standard J! ones. I've added JS suffix to some of the plugins just in case anyay doesn't recognise them.
The others are self explanitory.A lot are disabled just s I could test that weren't in conflict with the kunena rss feed.

The simplest way to establish if your website can or cannot support RSS feeds is to create another Joomla 1.5.11 site, make no changes to it - leave it in its initial "vanilla-flavoured" status - install Kunena 1.5.3 on it and test it out. If it doesn't work then your webhost can't do RSS feeds. End of story.
If this test works, you can then, one-by-one, add the other components and, after adding each one, check that the RSS feeds still work. If you add a component and the RSS feed stops working, then you know which one it was, don't you?

Hi, a while ago I posted a probelm about my rss not working.
I've fixed it now so I thought I'd tell you why it wasn't working in case anyone else has the same problem
Here is my original post: www.kunena.com/forum/105-solved--support...ss-still-not-working
Basically the fix was, under security settings int he config panel, I had 'Registered Users Only ' set to yes. Simple and obvious!
I got the idea thanks to this post: www.kunena.com/forum/132-common-question...it=10&start=10#24231
