Question "Recent Discussions" - broken link

Just to be sure:

- I disabled all plugins
- I took another template from JoomlaJunkie

Nothings helps

Version 1.0.9 is even worse, the whole layout is broken

this is strange!

on my localhost, some tabs functioning, some are not - seems this depends if I am within a category - then the "recent" and "My discussions" tabs work properly - but NOT the "Categories" tab???!!!

Are you try this docs.kunena.com/index.php/Category_page_shows_white_page

In the meantime please enable announcement in Kunena Configuration, this will fix the problem.

Announcement enabled and it still gives me the broken page

changing to the default template give a pagination error!

Is there any solution??

meanwhile I would suggest NOT to use Kunena on a Livesite!!

I have installed the very newest version of Kunena:

Installed version: Kunena 1.0.10 | 2009-05-21 | 1344 [ Parier! ] | php 5.1.6 | mysql 4.1.20

Everything works EXCEPT clicking the "Categories" Tab. That breaks Kunena and yes, I get the dreaded all white page - screen shot attached.

I do not have any components installed on my Joomla! 1.0.15 Stable site except sh404SEF and I have turned that off and I still get the broken white page when I click the "Categories" tab.

I have also uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. :blush:

I'm getting the impression that Kunena 1.0.10 has serious repercussions if people attempt to install it on a J! 1.0.15 site. We need evidence that K 1.0.10 operates smoothly, without problems, on a J! 1.0.15 site. I won't be rushing to do this: I have as much interest in J! 1.0.15 as I have in practising to conjugate Latin verbs :X

marleyman: this may not sound very comforting, but yours is the third case that I've come across in these forums dealing with problems associated with Kunena 1.0.10 on a J! 1.0.15 website.

• Forum jump not working correctly...
• Couple issues after upgrade
• Unread posts does not work in listcat view

I also have my suspicions that J! 1.0.x may be involved in this case reported today, too: Search not working . Although these problems are very different to yours, there's a growing list of coincidences pointing to J! 1.0.15 as a possible common cause of problems.

Similarly - this isn't very comforting, either - I haven't seen these problems in a J 1.5.x environment. There is a different symptom with the K 1.0.10 search function under J! 1.5; I don't know if the solution in that case will help you, though.

Can you reproduce the same error situation on a J! 1.5.x website using the same combination of components that you have on your problem site?
