I've been having some issues on my host for a while now. It's a Windows 2003 server which runs the following:

Server specs:
PHP gebouwd op: Windows NT NITRO8 6.0 build 6001
Databaseversie: 5.0.67-community-nt
Database collatie: utf8_general_ci
PHP versie: 5.2.6
Webserver: Microsoft-IIS/7.0
Webserver naar PHP interface: cgi-fcgi
Joomla! versie: Joomla! 1.5.10 Production/Stable [ Wohmamni ] 27-March-2009 23:00 GMT
Gebruikersagent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; nl; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10

Until today I've been unable to run Fireboard 1.5.2RC correctly on the server, due to strange issues such not being able to change to flat view, instead of threaded (even though this is the standard view in the config) and links being incompleet.

I recently tried Kunena on my server and this seems to be running alot better. But I still have the link issue. A few examples are below for both my Live website (Linux/Apache) and my own Dev Server (Windows2003/IIS):

Examples
1. Button to Recent Discussions
2. Page 36 of a large thread
3. Page 2 of a search

Links on LIVE Website (FireBoard 1.5.2RC):

1. www.x.nl/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=53&func=latest
2. www.x.nl/index.php?option=com_fireboard&...ew&id=36343&catid=15
3. www.x.nl/index.php?option=com_fireboard&...0&searchword=fresnel

Links on DEV Website (Kunena 1.0.9/10):

1. www.x.nl/index.php/forum?func=latest
2. www.x.nl/index.php/forum?func=view&catid...3&limit=15&start=525
3. www.x.nl/index.php/forum?func=search&q=fresnel&start=20

Any idea what might be causing this? The admin of the server claims that other people do not have issues, but I find this hard to believe since the same issues appear in both Fireboard and Kunena.

You have Joomla! 1.5 SEF enabled:

Site / Global Configuration / Site / Search Engine Friendly URLs = Yes

If you want to have same URLs as in live site, please say No.

Turned SEF url's off, and all links work now on the site. But what is causing the SEF URL's to not work then? :S

IIS does not have .htaccess file which redirects SEF urls to Joomla
