there is the forum, the display is way off and the links give a 404 error. I have no idea what is causing it. Thank you for any help.

G'day, nobody :S I'm not too sure to begin with this. I hope I'm not going to offend you, but is this your first Joomla website? Most of the problems that I see with your website are Joomla ones, not Kunena ones. "404" errors are usually caused by badly-formed menu links. Furthermore, it is most uncommon to find a website's URL that had repeated levels of "/index.php". So, I'm going to suggest that you pause for a few moments to correct your basic website design before we worry too much about how to make Kunena operable.
I see that you attempted to use one of the Rockettheme templates. There are good things and bad things about them but, from what I've read in these forums, it's mostly not too good. Particularly, the Rockettheme RokCandy plugin plays havoc with Kunena and you should disable it.
As far as Kunena is concerned, you should resist the temptation to experiment with the 134 different configuration parameters until you have established that you have it successfully working. Let me suggest to you to read docs.kunena.com/index.php/Configuration for more guidance in that area.
The best advice for new players is the KISS principle: "keep it simple, {stupid)." When building your first Joomla website, use what comes with it as standard. Get all the components co-operating with one another and then do all the nifty cosmetic stuff at the end. I wish you luck and hope that these notes are helpful. Again, my apologies if I've misjudged your level of Joomla expertise.
Cheers

Thanks for the reply! This is actually my fifth. And they all run fine with fireboard. In fact if i load fireboard it works fine, i have also loaded other templates that were not rocket theme and got similar issues. And the link issue is through the kunena extension not a menu item i created. But i will look into it im probably missing something silly thanks.

Aside from the "404 error", the display format problems are almost-guaranteed to be caused by a peculiarity of the site template and/or the Kunena template that you've chosen.
If you follow my Configuration tips (paying particular attention to the couple that are marked "important") you'll probably get that part sorted out.
Another classic problem is the overuse of additional Joomla components. If the tips I've given don't help, it's always the smart idea to disable as many unnecessary bits and pieces that you've added in to determine if there's a conflict between something else and Kunena. Although Kunena works with most things, I wouldn't bet my life that it would protect me from a horde of stampeding Peruvian llamas.
The bottom line, in troubleshooting your problem, is to return to basics (return to factory-default settings, if you like) and work your way through things, changing only one thing at a time until you find what's at the root of the problems you're having.
Good luck.

Your url has too many index.php's:
/index.php/index.php/index.php/forum.html
Did you upgrade Kunena?
This is a known Joomla! 1.5 issue. If you uninstall and install legacy component, you will loose component information from your menu item.
There is an easy fix for this one: just edit your menu item and save it.
