FYI: Moments after I posted my last message, I observed the following:

Like I said, I cannot consistently reproduce the error. It doesn't bother me.

If you check my forum now, you will see the same error. However at mine is on a different line to this forum. I'm not too concerned because it is obviously an Internet Explorer problem because the same is not happening on Firefox or Safari, I don't know about any other browser. Also, it doesn't seem to be having any effect on the performance of the forum, it's just that little bit annoying seeing that yellow triangle.

Yeah, you're right, OFL ... it's a damn annoyance. That's all it is, though. It may not be worth the effort you expend to make everything perfect.

I am trying to educate my members to move across to Firefox. They won't see any errors then;) I will probably uninstall a few recent components/modules just to see if the error disappears. Problem is, once you know something is there, it tends to play on your mind and you want to get rid of it even if it is not causing the problem.

Have some valium or drink lots of fizzy red softdrink; that will easily fix your problem

It's an IE and Javascript thing. Microsoft has to do things differently to everyone else. :P

It has been my experience over the years that you can pound the drum all day and night to have users use whatever your opinion for the *better* browser is. However, if your website is on the internet, and you want web visitors to come by then the majority of people will be on IE. You just have to make it work on IE or the majority of users will experience whatever the issues are. All depends on how much that error will annoy you to get fixed.
