Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

can someone please tell me how to get the announcement box to show up in recent discussions ... I have it workin on the the categories page but need both..

this (kunena.com) forum has done it ... it is the area that says "DON'T INSTALL KUNENA 1.5.0a IN PRODUCTION SITES "

Sounds like you are on a version prior to 1.0.9

We fixed that one for 1.0.9 and 1.5.0a

that helps alot thanks... I installed .08 and then installed .09 and had all kinds of problems so I uninstalled and reinstalled .08 again...

If I go to .09 will my forum "design" be put back to default as I have had our programmers change the color, spacing, etc...

one last thing... where is the 08 to 09 upgrade files... I just see the full version downloads..

It doesn't exist. The upgrade is done by uninstall and the full install. This removfe your current installed files, but preserve your data stored in the database (ie content, config etc..)

so in joomla 1.0.xx admin site do the following?
1. go to uninstaller/components
2. uninstall kunena
3. install .09

after that all should be working just as it did before with all template modifactions in tact?
