Editor buttons not working was created by giny8i8
Hi guys, some problem with the interface functionality...
I have a fresh joomla (1.5) and kunena (1.0.
install at
orgridea.org
When i try to post a new topic or anything that uses the kunena editor, everything seems to be fine, exept, that when i click on the editor buttons ( B / i / u / Quote / Code / etc...) NOTHING happens. Doesent matter if the text is selected (highlighted) or else... i cant use any of those buttons...
dont realy get why?
I made my special kunena templat, based on MOC Design ( www.moc-design.com/ ) dark red template. It's a simple "default_ex" copy / overwrite stuff.
The template seems to be invariant, when i use another (tryed "default_green") the buttons don't work neither.
any ideas, how can i fix this...?
Feel free to register on my page if you want further experience, and use the FORUM menuitem on the horizontal navbar (tha page is in hungarian laguage..., but u might figure it out...)
thx in advance...

Maybe some conflict with javascript (joomla template) or plugins? You have a lot of both...

I have tried to change the template back to default (out of the box) joomla template "rhuk_milkyway" - no changes, still can't use the buttons in the editor window...
If i have a plugin conflict, as you suggest, which plugin it might be?
Here is the lists of my components, / plugins / moduls:

Im not an expert, so this is just a shot in the dark, but some people have reported that the rok... plugins (from the template, rocketteam?) make some conflict. Look around in this forum.

Perfect guess..
You suspected it right!
I use The Akiraka RocketTheme template, that uses the RokCandy Plugin. Disabling this plugin solves the issue. Funny, that RocketTheme pays no attention for the most popular native joomla forum...
Noobs
The Plugin that makes BBcode unuseable in Kunena:
Plugin name: System - RokCandy
File: rokcandy_system
