Is there a way to allow animated GIF avatars to be uploaded?
How can I allow members to be able to put bb code into their signatures (so they may have pictures)?
How can I take off the usertype beside the members name (i.e.: Budd (User))?
Is there a way to allow only ONE forum where guest may post?
I've been trying to figure this out for days now. Any help would be much appreciated.

I MAY be in the wrong area with this (hopefully not). I am using Joomla 1.5.x, Cb 1.2 and Kunena 1.0.8. Here are my questions:

1. This is complicated. Do you use the avatar-gallery of CB, you habe to ask at Joomlapolis. The avatars in Kunena are resized, you have 3 possible formats, you can write into Kunena Configuration - i think, animated gifs can't be stretched so easy, but i don't know. Try to give in all three fields the same width and height.
2. This is a standard feature in Kunena, to use BBCode in Signature. Switch it to Kunena, otherwise Joomlapolis must be asked for it.
3. Open the kunena.forum.css of your template and put the red marked line in
span.msgusertype {
font-style:italic;
font-weight:normal;
text-decoration:none;
display:none;
}
4. If you mean a forum, where only guests may post, but nor registered users: No way, i guess. Otherwise you can put all forums to registered acces, and let one open for guests, here is a hack , perhaps this could help to realize it.

i am new to Kunena, have installed successfully.
Users can upload their own avatar, works fine.
However: i cannot locate the dir where the uplaoded avatars are stored on my server.
The Kunena uploaded images browser also does not show any uploaded images, but they must be somewhere.
Can someone help me please?
