Kunena 6.3.0 released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

I would begin by using the original default_ex template that came with your installation kit.
What version of Joomla are you using? Are you using any third-party SEF components (like sh404SEF, for example)?

It is recommend to use the template default_ex.
But if you want to use Template default furthermore, you can fix this formatting problem, with editing kunena.forum.css
and set this code into the kunena.forum.css (components/com_kunena/template/default)

I am using Joomla! 1.0.15 Stable, Kunena 1.0.10, and sh404SEF. I have just switched from Default to default_ex with no change. I just need to shrink the size of the first column and I cant find where to do it.
What effect does a third-party SEF component have?

Please insert the code, that I posted into kunena.forum.css.
It has nothing to do with SEF, it is a CSS problem.
