Question Fireboard 1.0.5RC2 - IE6 New Thread Issue

Another question then since you seem to be looking for a specific answer. Does it do this in FireFox or IE7/8?

Heres a list of browsers ive tried with the following results:

Firefox - Does'nt display correctly
IE6 - Does'nt display correctly

IE7 - Fine
Avant - Fine
Google Chrome - Fine
Safari - Fine
Flock - Fine
Netscape Navigator - Fine
Opera - Fine
Sea Monkey - Fine

This leads me to believe it is a CSS issue with your template. Otherwise it should be doing this with ALL browsers.

I would just get rid of IE6 all together. Put up a warning message and ask them to upgrade whenever users with IE 6 come around. If not create an IE6 CSS file and make the necessary adjustments. The message has worked for me because now I don't have to worry about IE6 every time I make a small adjustment to the website. IE6 is high maintenance. I would just worry about IE7 and up.

Hi All

I have a bit of a update regarding this issue. I had a clean joomla install and installed the fireboard forum without my template. Tested it through IE6 and this issue is still present.

Any ideas?
