[SOLVED] HELP PLEASE "errors on page" the result of a nasty message imbedded in our Fireboard page was created by pkirbyr
This seems to be an old hack. There was a reference I found related to Netscape. the site must have been hacked because I have a message that I hesitate to put on this forum although I will clean it up. See below for "alert (f***)". "*" replaces most of the letters in the word.

By the way, This is Fireboard version 1.0.5RC2. One idea was that upgrading to Kunena would possibly resolve the problem. I tried upgrading to Kunena but it didn't work. There appears to be significant effort involved in doing this and we are in the release process now, so therefore the urgency find and fix this issue. Thanks for any help.

OK.. the good news is that 1) the upgrade was flawless (kudos to you!
), the second part 2) the malicious message/code was eradicated by the upgrade (kudos to you again!:woohoo:), the third thing, the big issues was that I have several components that were hard-coded to fireboard - i was able to fix them (kudos to me
). NOW, the last piece is that I don't really understand how sh404sef works and i initially had someone else do the work, so to complete the kunena upgrade (at least my version of the story) I need to figure out how to make kunena work with sh404sef because it's doesn't seem to be automatic.
Thanks! Kudos to you Kunena team! BUT still any help appreciated with the sh404sef challenge remaining.:S
