Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I will say this and continue to say this. Nothing just happens. If it worked before and yet does not work now tells me everything I need to know. There has been a change made somewhere. Whether that be with the Joomla install or the server environment something has been altered. Problem is only you know what. In instances such as this it is going to be primarily up to you to figure out what you changed and how it is affecting this install.

Right off the bat it looks like some debug mode is on.
We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)

Joomla can run on ISS (but how want that?). Have a look at Joomla technical requirement .

Mitchel can you give some more information about your install.


Did you get any error during install of Kunena? Do you have the right permission in the database?

You say that you have been running Kunena for 4 months? Kunena was released mid February...

Have you consider running a wamp server?

No need for debug mode on, we still have some nasty fireboard error reports based in debug screen in our vagon... we have to improve in that.

That said, I'm with Gmark, if it was working before, and stopped working, you have to backtrace the changes made since then.

OK i got it working. Anyway... the problem was becuase something in my SQL database would not let anything create tables. I restarted the computer and reinstalled mysql and backed it up, ect...

Ok so now it can write. But i kept trying to restore my old FB backup. Apparently it was corrupted... I took a old backup of the jos_FB_* tables and resotored them. it works fine.

Fireboard Worked.
Kunena Worked.

Thanks for the ideas and help!

I use IIS becuase im hosting multiple sites on 1 computer and it has a nice interface. I also like how it can easly Support l of the Languages and the User freindly controlpanel. I have used WAMP and had alot of problems with it.

currently it is:

Needs to be:
