Replicate Kunena was created by mar268
Hi,

Can someone please advise. I want to have 2,3 replicas of kunena forum on my website. I have taken a copy of the component and replaced all "kunena" occurences with "xyz" and also the file names. I was able to install the replicated compnent in Joomla. But I noticed the discussions, posts in both forums are the same. I think this is due to the same DB tables being used. Is my conclusion corect ?. How do I make the repllica component use different tables? Is there a smipler way to do this whole thing ??
Thank you very much for your help.

I think joomla only can handle one install of a component at a time.

But you can define different forums i kunena backend and make menuitem pointing to them.

Visit the Kunena documantation .

Not true. I think someone was successful, or got pretty close, to doing the same thing. It was about a few weeks back.

Check this.
