Question Problem With Template / CSS

Hi

I am relatively new to all this and not that technical so apologies up front!

I installed Kunena and created the link for it in my menu.

When I try to login in (using the login module) I get this error

404 - Component not found

Component not found

but when I use the back arrow to get home I am logged in.

If I then click on the link to the forum it says that I am logged in but none of the main joomla template is used and so I get a white back groud with messy looking texts and links (it looks like the css is not being used)

I have searched the forum and tried all similar solutions I have found but still keep getting an error.

I have tried tried Joomla Style as both yes and no in the configuration menu and I have tried several different templates. I am starting to pull what little hair I have left out. Does anyone know what I need to do to sort this out?

Seems to be your SEF causing the problem.

your SEF is mess up. what SEF are you using? If you using joomla SEO, change htaccess.txt to .htaccess if you using Apache and put YES to Add suffix to URLs
