Your server doesn't meet the requierment for kunena. You are running mysql version 4.1.22 but you need version 5.0.0 or newer.

Check docs.kunena.com/index.php/Technical_Requirements .

Visit the Kunena documantation .

need to ask your hosting provider to upgrade to latest Mysql version. Most provider will do it for free since Mysql is open source database. Either they are lazy, or their tech support is really "poor" to help you.

Second Question - as long as your server met the min requirement than is OK. But you need to have the min requirement to run kunena. Short of either one, PHP 4.3 or Mysql 5.0, your forum will not run properly.

I don't think this is a problem. I guess both are reported if one of them fails.
