Hello,

Have just completed a upgrade from 1.0.0 FB to 1.0.8 kunena and we have lost all images attached to the posts.

Is there any thing we should be looking at here? or can do??

The image files are a key part of the content of the site.

Regards,

Thanks.

Is this suggested for internal links too?

Im not getting error's - but no images that where added inside the old FB forum show.

All external IMG tagged images work fine.

Migration FAQ does not help with you on this one. The issue is that the files are located in wrong place.

1.0.0 had a severe bug in terms of location of files within the Joomla tree.

You will have to take the images and move them into the /media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images folder and all files to /media/kunena/attachments/legacy/files.

Check on of the existing posts for the location of the files. Might be best to take them from your backup and copy them to the above folders.

We can provide you with a simple SQL to update all existing posts URLs once you have copied the files into the proper location.

Hope this helps!
