Question FB for Joomla 1.5.x

1st of all, I am not giving any ad to other components.
Just posting it hoping that it can help the Dev-team who is working on J1.5.x version.

Someone has developed Fireboard for Joomla 1.5.x platform . call Fire Bulletin Board.

It will be great if that developer joins the Kunena Team

In fact Ryan was on our team but decided after only 2 weeks, to bring out his 'own' version all by himself.

We have a similar version up and running on our test and development servers. We first had to focus on making 1.0 bug free. All those hundreds of bugs in FB needed to be taken care of before we move on to 1.5

We will soon have our own 1.5 Alpha out, but with all the bug fixes.

I think he wanted to bring the J1.5.x version first.

But we also need the J1.0.x version as like my site, which is running stable and with high traffic and not willing to move to J1.5 platform....

If you want to keep future Kunena releases working in J1.0, please add feature request for it in our uservoice!

We had to change our plans with Joomla! 1.5 Native version because of Fire Bulletin Board and it effectively means that there will be no other releases for Joomla! 1.0 users than security fixes for Kunena 1.0.

Because of the latest events we just don't have the time to build a layer to support them both. We need to get Kunena 1.5 out ASAP, and it means that the new features are not automatically working in J1.0 -- We need to merge them all back to our old builds with some changes.
