Question Fireboard 1.05 RC2 Active Topics Since last login?

I've seen some Fireboards that have a section for "Active Topics Since... 4 hours, 8 hours, etc..., last login."

I don't know what version those are, but I can't find that option in 1.05RC2. Was that functionality dropped or is that a 3rd party plugin?

Though I'm not prepared to upgrade to Kunena, I'm wondering if that functionality is built into this new version.

That's a pretty requested feature from myself and the board users - Can someone point me in the right direction on this?

I assume you mean like this :

I believe .. and I am sure I will be corrected if wrong, but this is part of the template.

Here on Kunena they have redirected to the Recient discussion Tab, on my site still running fireboard it works fine.

I havn't had time to test Kunena, but I think if you use a different template the defaul_ex this function still works

Thanks - I, of course, am using default_ex. The template I like is the template it doesn't appear on. Now that I know this, I'll do some tweaking!

I'm somewhat new to tweaking Fireboard, so many probably already know this, but in case someone else views this needing the answer, I'll post my tweak.

I was playing around with the files and noticed that any file I removed from the template specific folder would simply revert to that file in the "default" folder.

So, in this case, I just removed (renamed) the file latestx.php in the default_ex folder and it used the one from the default folder, which is the one I wanted.

A snap to do and worked like a charm. Thanks for the help...

Default_ex contains the info in different form. Just look at Kunena.com / Recent Discussions:

You should see [ Month ] in a box. Click it.
