Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Is there a good way to migrate from phpBB 3 to Kuena at this time? If not I might be willing to pay someone to write a migration tool to help support this project.

Currently the only way is to use a converter to FB and from there to Kunena. There is an effort to make a converter for Kunena, but it's not ready yet.

I have japanese kanji and kana characters on some of my posts on phpBB3 and when I did conversion with this converter ( www.kunena.com/forum?func=view&catid=5&id=2907#2911 ) to pbpBB -> Fireboard and update to Kunena kanji characters didn't get converted. So I don't have any more japanese characters on these posts after conversion... any idea how to make conversion correctly?

No one is working on it officially. Right now you have to convert to FireBoard and then to Kunena.
We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)
