Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hello...

I just upgraded to Kunena 1.0.8 from Fireboard 1.0.5RC2. The component is installed on our Joomla-based church website (running Joomla 1.0.15 Stable). There are a couple of *.gif images that appear broken on the public side of our site when looking at the Kunena component. Those images are:
  • tlatest.gif (Show most recent message)
  • profile.gif (Click here to see the profile of this user)
Both *.gif images are listed already in the following foler:

/public_html/components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images/english/icons/

I'm not sure why these two images appear to be broken. Any suggestions?

There is a lnown issue where joomla installation can corrupt images randomly, please, replace them with the images on your package via ftp
