Question Installing 1.0.8 in a Bilingual Site?

I just downloaded 1.0.8 and am eager to install it as my first Kunena Board to replace phpBB3. In the Installation instructions from Documentation, one of the conditions (#2) says "You have only English installed." I don't; I have Japanese installed as well. What do I need to do to install 1.0.8 into my bilingual site?

No, don't worry, that is refering to fireboard language files, as they will get deleted if you upgrade

For a clean 1st time install, just download, and install

I just tried to upload and install through the Joomla Administrator back end and got this error message:

Your Extension appears to be written for an older version of Joomla!. You must enable the System - Legacy Plugin in the Plugin Manager if you wish to complete this task.

Is this related to the php config resource limits? My server's maximum execution time is 45 sec., maximum input time is 60 sec., memory limit is 96M. I can't modify this myself so I sent in a request to the server admin to see if they can bump it up to 300.

Or is the error something else?

No, I don't, grumblemarc. I was assuming 1.0.8 was written native Joomla 1.5 and didn't need Legacy enabled. Would you recommend I just enable it and go for it?

I just found out I have bigger problems. I thought my server (Siteground) had the minimum requirements covered but their MySQL is only 4.1x Now I've gotta find a new server and transfer my site. grrrrrrrrrr!
