Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Export FB data and import to Kunena was created by Fursten
Hello,

I have a J! 1.0.15 installation with FireBoard 1.0.4 Stable in it. Then I have a J! 1.5.10 installation with Kunena 1.5.5 in it.

Can I export all data from my FB installation and import it in to the Kunena installation? I don't want to use one of the migration tools for the whole site. It's only the forum info like posts, topics and images I want to move.

Is this possible?

Hello,

You can't import data from fireboard 1.0.4 to Kunena 1.5.5, you haven't others alternative that used the migration tool.

Why you don't upgrade to fireboard 1.0.5RC2 with the migration tool and then upgrade to kunena 1.5.5 ?
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

First read this: docs.kunena.com/index.php/Migration_Issues

This should work (in new site):

* uninstall Kunena and remove all jos_fb_* tables
* copy all jos_fb_* tables to new site (check that tables are in UTF8!)
* install kunena

Done.. :)
