Will posts be deleted after migrating? was created by unbeleve
I am currently using Fireboard 1.0.5RC2 and want to switch but I don't want to loose any of the posts in the old Fireboard forum.
Can anyone tell me if i can keep my old forum setup and posts or will I have to start fresh after migrating?
My users would hate to loose all of their posts.
Thanks!

I think it will be like upgrading to a new Version of Fireboard, so posts won't be ersed. But I'm not sure as I haven't tried... let's wait for an administrator to answer...

Because, currently, the 1.0.X versions of Kunena use the same Fireboard tables in the db, you won't loose anything. You could even have both installed at the same time if you wanted to. That will change once the J1.5 native component is released however.

That will change = using the same tables. It will change on the next version (1.1), but your board will be automatically converted to new format, so no messages will disappear.
