First let me thank the moderator and developer staff for all your hard work. The support for Kunena so far is fantastic! As a user that doesn't have allot of experiance with websites, being able to ask the developer staff questions, and actually having them right back is amazing.
Ok so let be give you some information on my site.

PHP Built on: Linux dprhensim24.doteasy.com 2.6.22.14-72.fc6 #1 SMP Wed Nov 21 15:12:59 EST 2007 i686
Database Version: 5.0.27
Database Collation: utf8_general_ci
PHP Version: 5.1.6
Web Server: Apache/2.2.6 (Fedora)
Web Server to PHP interface: cgi-fcgi
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.9 Production/Stable [ Vatani ] 9-January-2009 23:00 GMT (Just upgraded last week)
installed Extensions: Kunena(Ver1.0.7) and Rockbrigde(A so called Bridge for my temp phpbb3 forums)
And heres what I did:
1. I was running Fireboard v1.0.5, didnt have any major problems. Last week I decided to upgrade my Joomla from 1.0 --> 1.5. Pretty normal installation, had a few problems but nothing to serious.
2. Once the Joomla install was done, I reinstalled FB. Saw the error about Legacy, so i turned on Legacy Support. No errors or problems.
3. Immediately FB was FUBAR. It looked like fine at 1st. But once the first post was made, it would make 5-6 identical post in the same board. Then the second post would be attached to that one, making 12 copies of the 1st post and 6 copies of the 2nd post.
1st thing I tried was deleting the orgrinal post(now called "Post Zero") that started the spam. I coundt. When I hit delete the conformation page would come up with everypost that was made since the install.
Then I tried to create a new sub forum and move all the spam to there. I couldn't, it made 5 copies of that new "Spam" forum.
I merging the Post Zero with another old post to get rid of it. That got rid of all the spam, but once a new post was made, it would all come back.
So that's when I found Kunena. I downloaded and installed Ver1.0.7, without 1st uninstalling Fb. this gave me the same problem. I then uninstalled FB. And same problem. I then saw that I was starting to lost some data. I was missing complete forums. I also noticed that when I tried to turn off Legacy mode, that my whole site would go down, giving me the error Direct "Access to this location is not allowed."
Since then I've installed phpbb3 and a bridge, but really dislike then. Not to mention losing all of my old data, would love to get Kunena up and running.
HELP!

Hi,
It sounds like something went wrong with your Joomla migration from 1.0 to 1.5
The behavior you describe, I have never heard of or come across.
Do you have a backup of the FireBoard database tables before the upgrade of Joomla?
Here is what I would recommend:
Go back to that back and do a fresh upgrade to Kunena. Any posts since then would get lost - not sure if that is an option.
I would uninstall Kunena & FireBoard, drop all jos_fb_****** tables - double check all are gone - restore these tables from your backup - install Kunena.
FYI: There is a known bug in 1.0.7b if you are using a different table prefix than jos_. If that is the case the upcoming 1.0.8 release will fix that.
Hope this helps!
