whereas I have no problem migrating a 1.0 Joomla site to 1.5, I have yet to try doing it with a forum installed. I have got something like 35,000 posts and over 3000 members on my forum and the thought of losing all this Scares the hell out of me.

Sorry, I was just assuming someone would chip in with some reassuring words.

I've always been very reluctant to to upgrade my main website but I think it's about time I did. I cannot find any correspondence that talks about migrating a forum that is already on a 1.0 platform to a 1.5 platform and still keeping all your posts and members in place.

As long as you have a solid backup what is there to worry about?

I always worry

Will migrator backup all the forum database tables as well? I know that it won't actually install the forum for you, you have to do that after.
