Question K 1.0.10 works!

However, I have discovered that not only has K 1.0.10 been designed to make it more Community Builder-friendly it also includes several important dependencies (for those who use the Joomlapolis product) on the simultaneous installation of CB 1.2.1! :huh:

I think this discovery is important enough to make the following announcement: For users of Community Builder 1.2: you must upgrade to CB 1.2.1 before you can use Kunena 1.0.10.

There are no ifs, no buts and no other workarounds offered or necessary. If you want the Kunena 1.0.10 upgrade to work, you need to upgrade Community Builder ... or remove it.

@Beat: thank you for your hard work. I'm sorry if we appeared to be such pests about insisting on answers to our questions but (as you have finally come to realise) Kunena has a very strong following among Joomla users and we think it's important that you give all the support as you can.

That is strange, I am using CB 1.2 with Kunena 1.0.10 on Joomla 1.5.10 and it is working fine.

Just got 1.0.10 and CB 1.2.1 installed and my data migrated. Testing it now, however I am wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting MESSAGE ORDERING, or their SIGNATURES to show up?

I had a workaround for signatures before but assumed this may be resolved now with this update. I'm still researching, but have not found the info yet.

You have to both enable the plugin and publish the "Forum" tab.

OK, I went to check my config out.

For Plugins:

I have a "Fireboard Forum" plugin installed and enabled and the config for that is set to Forum component: Bestofjoomla.com Kunena.

For Tabs:

I have two Forum settings at the top with X next to them (not published) and their descriptions are both "These are your forum settings".

I then have another Forum settings tab unpublished as well.

Finally I have a tab called Forum with plugin description of "Fireboard Forum" and that is enabled.

Seems to have confused me here a bit.

UPDATE

Seems I had a plugin conflict with two activated at same time. ALL SEEMS TO BE OK NOW..

However, old signatures are gone now?

I entered a new signature in the profile editor and it showed up. I would prefer to have it show the previous signatures though.

Suggestions?
