Configuration won't save was created by tryout101
Hi there guys,
I try so hard to save the configuration in kunena, but it just wont save, it simple redirects to index 2 page, for example :
From this : mydomain.net/administrator/index2.php?op...nena&task=showconfig
To : mydomain.net/administrator/index2.php
I had to use phpmyadmin to save most of my configs, yet still i don't want to have that problem, makes life a bit harder, u know.
Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Could you get this to work in Kunena 1.0.10?
This is odd problem. Do you have some SEF component installed?

Awe, no it didn't fix the problem, awe man. It still redirects to index2.php.
This is what i did i tried installing 1.1.10, but it said failure because the directory was already in use by version 1.1.09, so i uninstalled it. Then I reattempted to install 1.1.10, and it gave me only one error, which was that set_timelimit 200, but that error shouldn't be that big of a deal right?, I searched it up and found out it only changes the php time, my hoster disables over 30 secs. Safe mode.
Now then once installed successfully, i tried changing the configuration, but still no use...
I feel terrible...

Timeout in installation is a big issue as you may have missing files and updates. Try to unzip installation file into your server and point installer the path. It should make installation fast enough to run through (Joomla bug in unzip).

Although it does give me the installation success, but I'll try your way anyways.
So let me describe step by step what I'm going to do.I'm going to uninstall the current copy of kunena. Then upload and unzip the kunena 1.1.10 into the temp directory. After which I'm going to log in the back-end , then click on "Install/Uninstall" tab, and as default the temp directory is in the parameter and just click install, and from what you have told me, it might solve the problem. We'll then let see ...
Lets hope it works.. Thanks though.
